I’m a person-centred counsellor and member of the BACP with experience in anxiety, depression, social anxiety and low self-esteem. I enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have also found that my calm and grounded style fits well with those who have experienced early trauma. I like to work at the pace of my clients, to build a strong therapeutic relationship so that they can feel safe and supported to explore their past, present and look to their future. All my sessions last an hour and cost £55. First introductory sessions are £25. I have a limited number of discounted spaces available.
When I'm not seeing clients I work for COSCA, Scotland's professional body for counselling and psychotherapy, so you know you are in safe hands.
Do you feel you have to put on a face in the morning so that the people around you can’t see how much you’re struggling? If you can identify with this then maybe the time is right for you to seek counselling. I can offer a space that is entirely yours for you to express your feelings without fear of being judged, talked over or disbelieved.
I work in Causewayside, at The Edinburgh Counselling Studio, in a quiet and confidential space, or you can see me online. It can be a frightening experience reaching out for support, but it can be liberating too. I can offer a free 15 minute phone consultation if you would like to speak to me before our first session. If you decide that we might be a good fit for each other, then I will support you to look at yourself and work with what we find.
