My COSCA certified certificate in counselling skills and BACP Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling are both from the University of Strathclyde, who have a strong tradition of providing high quality person-centred counselling training.
I am a Registered Member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abide by their Ethical Framework. As a rule you should only have counselling from someone who is properly trained and is a current member of a PSA (Professional Standards Authority) accredited professional body.
I have supervision monthly with a trained and experienced supervisor. They support me to do the best I can for you. I also read articles, watch and listen to programs on counselling related subjects and attend CPD (Continuing Professional Development) events every year so that I am continually learning and improving.
I would hope that we would be able to talk through any issues you may have with me or my practice, but if you feel unable to talk to me, please contact the BACP by post to BACP House, Unit 15, St. John’s Business Park, Lutterworth, LE17 4HB, or email to Professional_Conduct@bacp.co.uk.
